What to Buy – A very warm coat
for winter, a T-pass, Rush tickets for plays (can be bought at
discounts).
What to bring – Warm gloves, water proof shoes, scarves,
a beanie, a big warm coat, toilet seat covers (all of Boston doesn’t
have toilet seat covers anywhere), lots of movies (for when you
have to stay inside during the blizzards), Ipod (to listen to while
on the T).
Recommended Dorm – White Hall,
best location and biggest rooms

Dorm), very anti-social

Words of Caution – Northeastern
University is a hard place to meet people and make friends. There
are many cliques already
formed and students coming and going due to the Co-Op program.
People are not as friendly on the East coast as on the west coast,
takes some getting used to if possible.
Party Tips – Get to know people
who go to other schools in the Boston area. MIT, Harvard, and Boston
University have fun fraternity
parties; however, you need to know people who go there to get in
or know that they are going on.
